Andrew Malone

Working as a Product Designer for Smartly's onboarding and design system teams. My key responsibilities included designing and developing a user centred onboarding process that effectively communicated the value of the Smartly product. Championing hero features throughout the onboarding experience. Additionally, I collaborated with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, to ensure the final product met the needs of the users and the company's goals.

Involved in designing multiple SAAS products for mobile and web. Soteria, Infocare's electronic health record software, being the largest. Design system owner for the Soteria product. Lead designer for SoteriaMe, a clinical mobile application for patients. Worked as part of Infocare's multiple development teams, using Agile methodologies. I orchestrated user research for products, both in person and remotely. Ran internal workshops, design reviews, process reviews and training.

As a designer, I have had the opportunity to work independently with a variety of clients. My role involved conceptualising and developing branding and related content for each client, including creating unique and attention grabbing logos using Adobe software. I also specialised in producing detailed visuals and illustrations, all while ensuring that the designs met the specific requests and desires of each client.
