Anthony in a few words
A competent and committed Business graduate who has hands on knowledge and experience of the Trading
industry gained from 15 years working on a commodity trading desk at large international energy trading
company.
Significant experience with derivative trading, physical trading / asset valuation, asset risk management,
hedging, structured forward trading strategies, mtm accounting, creating forward curves. Excellent
understanding of trade life cycle covering all steps from execution through to risk reporting and settlement.
Possessing excellent communication skills and having the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues on detailed financial/trading issues.
RWE is a large international energy company covering all areas of the industry from power production to
domestic energy supplier. I worked for the Trading arm of this company which managed the exposure to the
various commodity and energy markets it was exposed to. Starting as a graduate working up to a senior
trading desk role, covering financial, physical, hedging and speculative trading strategies. Also spent periods
working in back office and middle office as part of early training.
Am now looking for work in finance/banking/trading industry but not neccasarily in a market facing role but would prefer a background/analysis/modelling role within those areas.
