I'm Archie, a design engineer based in London. I have built jetpacks, drones, battery packs, e-scooters and much more throughout my professional career and personal life. I've worked in companies with 1,000s of employees iterating on current technologies and in startups entering the world of mass production. I always work with a full picture mentalily and ensure a product performs well but is also suited to the use case in subtler ways too such as ensuring ease of assembly or to stay in keeping with particular aesthetics. I'm a firm believer that no part is the best part and I often find that mentality leads to designs that keep a component simple and low cost without sacrificing on performance. When it comes to designing physical components I use 3D printing where possible to rapidly test and evolve designs.

Every project I do I treat as my own and enjoy exploring lateral thinking to ensure the product is as good as it can be.

I work closely with customers to ensure the development is focussed and they end up getting the part they actually want.
