Daniel in a few words
An Ex-BCG-GAMMA, blue sky thinker, with deep expertise in building Advanced ML/AI systems proven in live pilots to deliver huge amounts of incremetal value in an array of industries ranging from Retail, Fintech, Insurance, Logistics and more.
At GAMMA, I was responsible for building over 10 different systems/use cases covering Pricing optimisation, Promo optimisation, Logistics simulation, Fraud detection, Assest portfolio optimisation and more; totalling over £100m+ in incremental revenue delivered across all businesss. Developed deliverables of wide ranging maturities; starting from an undefined business problem, estimating the value potential, developing a Proof of Concept through to designing and running live pilots and then scaling the product globally.
During my last year, 2022, I was Lead Developer & Product Manager for the CPG Promo.AI software product which was awarded five ‘Best in Class’ distinctions within Promotion Optimization Institute (POI)’s 2022 Enterprise Planning Vendor Panorama Report.
I was selected as a 'top 1%tile performer' to act as a techincal coach of excellence for Devex to mentor and provide advice for our teams globally to ensure they adhere to best practices and Responsible AI.
As a freelancer, I have been working with a Blockchain startup named Block Green, building the underlying pricing model that underpins the hashrate market place they are buidling, currently trading over 200 BTC on the platform. During business development meetings, I've explained the model, consistently impressing the client with it's level of technical rigor and commerical consideration, leading to onboarding conversions for both investors and miners.
Finally, I am also experienced building applications as a full stack engineer, namely I have single handedly built two websites: and I am comfortable building backends, mostly in Python & FastAPI, and frontends in both React, Vue & Dash.
