Jade Wheldon, Director and Designer

Jade is a multi-disciplinary designer and art director who over the past decade, has built a career designing for projects focussed on building a better world. Jade specialises in designing for films, anything from pitch decks and treatments to storyboards, art direction, prop design and directing and designing animations.

After a decade of building up expertise in the field, Jade is now looking to use her transferrable skills as a designer to diversify her portfolio and branch into the world of branding, logo design, infomercial animation and more.

The creation of a 5 minute animation for a shot documentary film about a deity that lives in the Amazon Rainforest called 'Curupira.'

The role involved writing scripts, storyboarding initial ideas, creating an animatic, designing style frames, characters and artwork, and eventually working closely with an animator and illustrator to complete the sequence.
