Jon in a few words
Passionate procurement professional. Chartered with CIOB and CIPS. 25+ Years experience in procurement and supply chain management. I have been engaged in MOD, Nuclear, Highways and Utilities projects. I have lead small teams of purchasing engineers most recently a team of 8 on a £1.2Bn project.
I have managed packaged procurement activities with some up to the value of £55M. I have worked with suppliers across the globe and have a sizable collection of trusted professional equipment and service suppliers.
I'm still, genuinly excited by cost reduction and efficiencies on sites and constantly look for a competitive advantage for my client/employer. If there is a way to increase the proffit margin or gain additional scope this is where I will be found.
