• Agile and Product Development: owned product strategy and roadmap. As the company's first product hire, in collaboration with the engineering team to optimise Agile practices and resource planning. This resulted in a quicker development pace, shorter feedback loops, and the launch of a highly anticipated rebuilt CRM/ERP platform. I also drove the team's OKRs.
• Product Discovery: A continuous product discovery practice has been implemented, incorporating user research, data analysis, and hypothesis testing. Coupled with stakeholder engagement, this has resulted in robust evidence-based decision-making, efficient requirements management, and backlog prioritisation while minimising resource waste.
• Roadmap: Jointly created the initial product roadmap and led its evaluations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, transparency, effective communication, and prioritisation.
• Ideation to Delivery examples: Transitioned a vehicle collection logistics solution from a long-awaited item in the ideas backlog to a functioning MVP. Another solution involved enhancing agent-customer communication: a comprehensive product discovery enabled the development of a working prototype without utilising developer resources, which demonstrated improved customer engagement metrics and a doubled lead conversion rate.
• Product Operations: Reorganised the Service Desk with efficient triaging and SLAs, resulting in an 80% reduction in resolution time. Optimised the email/SMS flow, layouts, and configurations; key metrics improved (Open Rate, Click Rate / CTR, Response Rate).
• Metrics and Data Analysis: Merged the business and data analyst roles. Defined, monitored, and reported on metrics and KPIs to create a foundation for data-driven development.
