Matheus Teles

Hello! My name is Matheus Chesca da Silva Teles, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Brazil.

Recently, I completed my Multimedia Journalism/Public Relations.

So far, I have had five professional experiences and I'm looking forward to start my sixth journey.

My first journey started back in 2016, when I was a producer for a live TV show in Santos, Brazil. Over there, I produced videos and image, I was responsible for the interaction between host and audience by reading emails and answering phone calls and I was responsible for inviting guests to the show.

At my university, I developed and created the first-ever YouTube Channel for the Athletics. I served as host, producer, and director of more than 15 videos on that channel and there is an average of more than 300 views per video out of the 15 videos I produced.

I was also an editor/reporter for the Stylus Newspaper. For the Stylus, I wrote news and feature stories and served as an editor for multiple editions of it.

In the summer of 2019, I came back home and I also collected one more experience to my resume. I worked at a publicity agency called Exodo Propaganda. Over there, I used to edit videos and images for clients of the agency and I was a Community Manager for some clients as well.

In the first semester of 2021, I had my last experience at the Kansas City Comets, an indoor soccer team. At the Comets, I was assistant of media relations, ticket sales, sponsorship sales and fulfillment, game day planning and execution. Also, I developed ideas to connect the team in the Latino community with the city.

From 2017 until now, I have produced more than six news reports to Brazilian TVs. This year I published one story on the website G1, the #1 news website in Brazil, and one story on the Kansas City Star, top 30 daily newspapers in the US.

I'm also able to work with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, WordPress, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
