Part of a team in charge of:

▪️Translating content from English to French (match reports, previews, press kits, sponsored content, interviews, etc.) and creating bespoke content for our French-speaking audience.

▪️Managing the French UEFA website and associated apps (Champions League, Europa, EURO/Nations League).

▪️Managing the French social media accounts for UEFA competitions (Champions League, Europa, Women's Champions League, EURO 2016/20/24).

▪️Reporting on French teams involved in European competitions.

On top of my long-term collaboration with UEFA described above, I have many years of experience in translating/localising written, audio and video content in the fields of sports and entertainment (FR<>EN) for clients including FIFA, the EPCR, Nickelodeon and iHoroscope. I have also worked remotely on some of the biggest sporting events in the world, such as the FIFA World Cup, UEFA EURO and Olympic Games. I'm always interested in hearing about potential spontaneous or longer-term collaborations, so don't hesitate to get in touch.

As a trainee teacher in a school rated as "Outstanding" by a recent OFSTED inspection, I undertook all the roles of a Modern Foreign Languages teacher through the year. I prepared and taught lessons to all learning years between y5 and y13 (therefore including several exam groups) in French, and in Key Stage 3 years in Spanish. I was also deeply involved in pastoral care, as I was form tutor for a y9 group. I also innovated by taking students outside of the usual classroom environment and taught them languages through the subject of PE (Content and Language Integrated Learning). I also helped out in various extra-curricular activities. I was observed by OFSTED during the school's inspection and was rated as "good with some outstanding features". The official OFSTED report of the inspection, which can be found on the school's website, specifically quotes my lesson as an example of a successful lesson. The year ended with the award of a post-graduate qualification in secondary teaching on the 1st of August 2011.
