I built the Business Intelligence team at Sonepar France from the ground up. The team now includes 10 specialized data analysts, each aligned with a core business domain (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.).

We own and govern the entire BI value chain, from data modeling to Power BI report delivery and access management, ensuring consistency, scalability, and impact across the company.

Key achievements:

--> Built the BI team from scratch – from vision and recruitment to structure and delivery model.

--> Implemented a sprint-based delivery process with a centralized backlog and bi-weekly Program Increments (PIs) to ensure cadence and visibility.

--> Upskilled the entire team through the PL-300 Power BI certification, setting a strong technical foundation.

--> Deployed JIRA as our single source of truth for project management (custom workflows, initiative tracking, usage guidelines).

--> Centralized BI communication through a dedicated SharePoint site (report catalog, access management, documentation).

--> Actively partner with department heads and ExCom members to ensure BI initiatives align with strategic goals.
