Worked in R&D Engineering function, as a Senior Project Engineer reporting to the Engineering Leader and actively engaged in leading project management activities for the New Product Introduction & Development, Localization, and Market-led innovation model projects.
Key Responsibilities -
- Apply project management methodologies and techniques for leading complex engineering projects to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned products, outcomes, and strategic business objectives for Automotive, Rail, Industrial Automation, and Process Engineering business verticals in the APAC region.
- Lead global cross-functional team to execute the product development as per Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables for maximum value creation.
- Maintaining all modules documentation including Foundation and Programme Design analysis documents, Quality history, Bill of Design, APQP, and PPAP, Engineering and Business meetings,
- Generate and analyse program-level performance indicators & produce metrics for inclusion in the program reports/dashboards.
- Continuously improve programme management processes and best practices across the workstreams and within the Programme Management Office.
- Embrace non-linear problem-solving, growth mindset, and Agile approach for Project Execution.
- Liaise with the Engineering team to design MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) considering the industry or customer problem statements.
- Plan, Design, and Run Sprint Cycles (Scrums) to test MVPs with customers globally with the help of the customer experts team.
- Capture outcomes of Sprint Cycles and coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Create a project progress pitch deck along with Senior Leadership for quarterly review with Group Apex Executives Members
- Prepare project budget and ensure procurement management
- Ensure related industry standards and requirements are met through conducting internal quality assurance audits
