Industry fields of expertise
Robert in a few words
The portfolio of my work can be seen via the websites I designed and produced for two of my primary employers:

Acriviadesign.com
A design manufacturing consultancy with production factories in China and products being sold primarily in the USA. I designed the majority of products found on this site and built the website with WordPress.

ElginUSA.com
A consumer safety workwear brand specializing in hearing protection. I designed around 50% of the products found on the site and designed the site with Adobe XD, producing it in Shopify.

I am a versatile and innovative Industrial Designer with extensive experience designing consumer electronics for the workwear, skincare, homewear, and automotive sectors. Splitting my time between the Elgin brand and Acrivia, a design manufacturing consultancy, I bring a wealth of expertise to each project I undertake.

At Elgin, I lead the design and development of workwear electronics, focusing on hearing protection earbuds. My role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Currently, I am developing my skills in e-commerce by improving the site that I designed and implemented through SEO optimization and A/B testing.

At Acrivia Innovations, I manage the end-to-end design process for diverse consumer electronics projects, ensuring seamless production and delivery by collaborating closely with our manufacturing plant in Shenzhen.

Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in ideation, CAD design, prototyping, and user experience, translating complex client requirements and technical specifications into market-ready products that meet client and consumer needs.

Skills: 3D Printing, Autodesk Fusion 360, Prototyping, Design Thinking, Digital Marketing, User Experience, Manufacturing Processes.
