Simon in a few words
I am a UK based web wizard with over a decade of website development experience across a range of platforms. My experience includes the development of many wordpress websites, for a wide range of business models, including ecommerce, affiliate marketing, coaches, SaaS, PaaS and more. The approach I take varies depending on the bespoke needs of the client, and any existing systems they have in place that need to be retained. I've worked with a range of themes and builders, incorporating coding where needed, and coding whole sites from scratch.
In addition, I am experienced in LAMP and host over 100 websites in a Cpanel environment.
For the past five years I have been Managing Director and Senior Developer of a marketing company, with website development being one of our core services. I am currently looking for part-time or contract website development work, You will find I have a keen eye for detail, and excellent time-management. I'm also well aware of the demands that come with fulfilling the marketing elements that come with a website. This includes a solid grounding in SEO best-practice and detailed understanding of how to structure and build websites with the power to rank. I'm well used to intergating a wide range of systems and functions needed to ensure successful marketing campaigns beyond the end of the site build. This includes payment gateways and ecommerce functions as well as CRMs, social media and oher PPC tracking, Google and Trust Pilot review integrations, and more.

After some very bad experiences with various so-called web developers (one agency, two freelancers), I had a website that cost a fortune but didn’t look or function correctly. It had also been constructed in a way that made its SEO performance very poor. Simon fixed all of this for me, overhauling the site so it looked great, worked as I wanted, and was fully optimised from a design and dev perspective. This gave me the base I needed to start getting the site ranking. I was so impressed with his work I have had him build several other sites since. From a complex agency site that needed a lot of original coding for modern design elements I’d created, to e-commerce sites and more he’s done an exceptional job every time. His attention to detail is second to none, and I know I can create whatever I want visually and give simply give him the copy and a brief explanation of any animated elements or features, and he will find a way to make it a reality. I also have complete confidence that he will do so in an SEO friendly way. I trust him with my sites and my client sites and would not hesitate to recommend him.
